Bring out your inner detective during this week of mystery, evidence, and science.
Duing this week of mystery and intrigue, older campers will explore the world of forensic science as they study how detectives solve crimes. They will learn about fingerprints, explore chromatography, make up an under-cover persona, and more! We will also study famous forensic scientists and detectives. Younger campers will play detective and policemen and work as a team to solve puzzles and mysteries. A police officer will come in as a guest speaker to talk about the kind of work police officers do. At the end of the week there will be a big mystery that campers will solve together as a group.
Who should sign up for Crime Lab?
Children interested in conducting experiments and forensics will love this week. Children interested in puzzles and mysteries or police work will also thrive during this week.
Full time campers should bring a water bottle, snacks and lunch. Half time campers need a water bottle and snack. Please bring a pair of sneakers for running games and hikes. We spend the day making messy art projects and science experiments, as well as playing games outdoors – it is important to send your child with clothes that can get dirty and wet!
