Adventure Week
The perfect camp for energetic children who love to learn.
This is a fun week that involves a little bit of everything. The kids will partake in fun educational field trips throughout the week as an exciting way to kick off the summer! The children will take a field trip to Pineland Farms, to the Art Museum, a chocolate factory (this field trip is not a definite and depends on staffing at Haven’s Candies), and the movies. While at the North Yarmouth Community Center, we will play fun games and make crafts associated with the things we have learned on our field trips.
Who should sign up for the Adventure week?
This camp is for kids who love to explore and learn new things. If you are considering this camp for your younger child, make note that this is a busy week with a lot going on. There isn’t much room for down time, and children who like to nap in the afternoon or need breaks from large groups, may not enjoy this camp.
Campers should bring a water bottle, snack and lunch. Please bring a pair of sneakers for running games and hikes. We spend the day making messy art projects and science experiments, as well as playing games outdoors – it is important to send your child with clothes that can get dirty and wet!
