Learn all about being a large animal vet!
During this exciting week of camp, campers will learn about the different animals found on a farm. Campers will learn how veterinarians care for large animals and different farm animal breeds. We will take a field trip to a local farm and have live animals come to visit! As an added bonus, Sparks Ark will make an appearance with their exotic live animals.
Who should sign up for Farm Vet week?
Calling all future veterinarians! This camp is for campers ages 4-11 and CIT’s 12-14 who are interested in learning how to care for animals. This is also a great choice for children who want to learn more about animals and enjoy science and art.
Full-time campers should bring a water bottle, snack and lunch. Half-time campers need a water bottle and snack. Please bring a pair of sneakers for running games and hikes. We spend the day making messy art projects and science experiments, as well as playing games outdoors – it is important to send your child with clothes that can get dirty and wet!
