Grinding Gears With Engineers

Time for STEM!

Over the course of the week, campers will have the chance to dabble with engineering, architecture, construction, and other areas of design and building. Activities include the egg drop challenge, catapult building, sailboat designing, bridge construction, and more! Each afternoon, senior campers will learn about famous architects and engineers in history and try to emulate their styles. Junior campers will have a daily literature-based challenge, where they will read a popular STEM children’s book and have a corresponding design activity.

The Art of Acting

Who should sign up for Grinding Gears?

This camp is for independent thinkers who love to build and create!

Full time campers should bring a water bottle, snack and lunch. Half time campers need a water bottle and snack. Please bring a pair of sneakers for running games and hikes. We spend the day making messy art projects and science experiments, as well as playing games outdoors – it is important to send your child with clothes that can get dirty and wet. We do lots of water play, so make sure to pack a bathing suit and towel.

Register now to bring art and science ALIVE for your child!
